Has anyone ever tried rainX on wheels to try and reduce the dusting. I actually laughed when a customer asked me about this, I said, "why would you do that when you could use wheel wax" but after I thought about it I wondered.

To be honest I would use a sealant or some collonite on the wheels and call it a day. I can not see rainX lasting longer than a good sealant or Collinite.

Give it a shot on some crappy wheels. I have my doubts, the eagle one and AA stuff work very well at repelling brake dust.

I remember forum member "twitch" tried Rain-X on his paint in this thread: http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-detailing-product-discussion/112526-rain-x-lsp.html but I`m not certain of his findings?
