View Full Version : Wheel Brush from Walmart/Target?

Does anyone have any personal experience with the wheel brushes from Target and/or Walmart? For just under $4 each store has 2 types of brushes: one is a soft bristel and the other is a MF. They look pretty flimsy but for $4 figured it might be worth a try.

If not, can anyone recommend a good wheel brush for $20 or less (preferably closer to $10).

Thanks!

if you have a big lots near you, they might still have some of the discontinued megs versa-angle wheel face brush, they were $5...

These are great brushes! If you can`t find those, I like the mothers brush, but its a different type than the Meguiars.

I love that brush. I`m on my last one and it`s getting worn out. :-( The Big Lots near me don`t have any of them. Anyone know where they can be found?

LOVE biglots they always have megs products and such at like 2 dollars a bottle. I bought 6 megs quick detail at $2 a pop while there probably like $6-7 at pepboys

I have the Megs brush but I think it would be too big to clean barrels, wouldn`t it?

yes, it would. a wheel spoke brush would be ideal and they can be had both OTC (autozone, harbor freight, etc) and online...

I have the blue wheel brushes from Walmart, the ones with the flagged bristle tips. I don`t use them on wheels that I really care about, but they`re great for undercarriages on daily drivers.

For the barrels, I still like my Quickie Sponge Mops, but you sure have to be careful about the wire core. Link: Welcome To Quickie.com (http://www.quickie.com/Public/Products/Default.aspx?UID=&ProductCategoryId=25&ProductId=42)

For wheels where I just won`t risk damage from the Quickie`s wire core, I usually just squeeze my little Griot`s sheepskin mitt for wheels (pn 10209) back in there, and use it to clean the back of the spokes too. I bought my first one of those on a whim, but much to my surprise I really loved it, and now I use them all the time.
