My dealer was kind of enough to get oil or brake fluid all over my wheels. It just smears if you try to wipe it. What can i use to get it off?

any APC should take care of it.

I was using griots wheel cleaner and it wasn`t getting it off. Maybe the water was making it tougher. It`s hard because when you start to remove it gets on your rag and then smears.

As already said use an APC.

Or a degreaser or solvent.

I`m pretty sure it`s lube and not brake fluid (if it *is* brake fluid you`ll have the paint peel off everwhere).

My Audi dealer must`ve gotten sloppy with the lube or something as I`m having this problem with the front wheels of the A8, which just had brakework done (same thing happened when I had the rears done but not as badly). It cleans off OK with just strong shampoo in my case, but that`s only because I have FK1000P on the wheels.

There are so many good ones out there, but you can also try some Tarminator.

Awesome or purple power sprayed on the tires and sprayed off at your favorite self serve wand wash!
