White spots on black interior plastic

I have a few places where the interior trim has white blotches. Given the interior is black it doesn`t look that great. I`ve tried basic soap and water cleaning and 303 protectant neither have helped. Any suggestions on what else I can try?



I bought Forever Black but when I tested it in an inconspicuous place it has a lot more shine than the rest of the panel so I don`t want to use it for these spots.



If it matters, I have an 08 BMW.

Can you post some pics? Could they be paint overspray?

I can get some pictures up tomorrow but I don`t think it`s paint overspray. It has a very faded bleached look. I suspect the previous owner used something on the interior that he shouldn`t have.
