I just got a 2010 Acura TSX with tech package a few weeks ago, and did my first wash tonight. I used ONR - it is great! I thought this was a bird dropping, but it is a scratch!!! I have no idea how a scratch this round, and in this place (above the passenger door) showed up...anyone have any thoughts? Is this going to be a killer to fix? Now I"m worried that once fixed it`s going to stand out, or not blend in with the rest of the car.

Hoping I can get some advice, and how much a body shop would charge to fix it.

i can`t tell how deep it is, if you can feel it with your finger nail, it can be repaired like you would a rock chip. if you can`t feel it with your finger nail try buffing it out with a polish such as megs 105.

With all of the original clear obviously still present around the area, I would fill that with touch-up, wet sand the area down and polish out the marring that the sanding leaves. I`m sure it`ll be about as good as new can get after that

not necessarily, metallics are hard to touch up and blend as the touch up paint is more concentrated and not sprayed out/evenly. on the other hand, this option would be better than nothing and the area doesn`t look to big where it would be that noticable. hopefully, you won`t have to use touch up paint and wetsand...
