so here is a little "mise en situation" I was asked by my girlfriend to fix a scratch a dad put into the rear passenger side of her civic. I did bring my stuff over to her place (which im staying at for a while) a rotary polisher,3M eggshell white pads and a couple meguiars polishes. I washed the car at night didnt really see the scratch that well. next morning i nearly had an heart attack seeing the scratch, couldnt do much to it but tryed my best. the result were not bad and i decided to go around the whole car to fix some random " girlfriend induced scratches" . the car was never waxed before so the color differences between the spots was really anoying, so i borrowed a friend PC 7424 and went to town on the car. never used one before, that thing is magic even with a crappy pad.

so well now i may not have removed all the little spiderwebs due to improper pad and product mainly but the car is 300% better

forgot something, I even remover the muffler to polish it.

here are the pictures:

welcome to forums--looks like you did a decent job with what you had (for the future I`m sure you`ll quickly fill up your arsenal with just a few searches on here) for the most part the DA`s are all you`ll need
