I will be doing my first mild paint correction on my 2009 Toyota Matrix this weekend. I spent last weekend cleaning/detailing all the little black trim and washing/claying the vehicle. So this weekend will be the decon wash, polish and seal. Now, its silver so the swirls are hard to see but they are there. What I have to polish with is my PC, 4" and 5.5" LC pads, M105 and 205 and Adams fine machine polish.

I have notices that the adams stuff is very mild and will probably not get the swirls out. And I have heard that toyota paint is thin. Which all my rock chips in 50K miles can attest to so I am not sure that I want to go right to the 105. I have never used the 205 as yet, will this take out the swirls and be LSP ready when I am done?

Also, what do you recommend to take off the 205? ISA?

The LSP will be colinite 845 applied with my PC. Which pad should I use? Black?

Thanks for the input.
