Wheel dressing applicator usage

Those foam wheel dressing applicators - what`s the typical useful life? Do I use one for all four tires, then wash it to be used again? Or 1 per tire then wash? Or are they meant to be disposable?

I don`t wash them after using them. Typically they will do 15-20 cars before they are starting to fall apart.

Yup...Use em, abuse em, then throw em out. I keep the juices on mine so they are all primed and ready to go for the next time.

I never wash them. I store in a ziplock until next use. Throw em away when they get too dirty.

another cheaper option is a grout sponge. cut it up into 6 pieces and you have 6 applicators for $2. I use it now with meguiars hyper dressing and it works better than any other applicator I have ever used!!!!



but yeah that typical applicator lasted me around 20 cars, not tires!
