I like using Spray and Rinse, only thing is that I find it way too strong, even at 1:1.

Now I`m no Chemist but does dilluting it more than 1:1 neutralize the acids sooo much that it would make the chemicals less effective for weekly washing?

The reason I dont just grab soap and water is because i have my wheels sealed pretty good and Poorboys recommends 1:1 for sealed wheels so that you don`t completely remove the sealant. I like just being able to spray the wheels, give a light agitation and pressure rinse the grime off, followed by some mothers fx spray wax to help wipe off any grime and add some protection. I have noticed that using this method extends the life, but still feel that the dillution at 1:1 is still too strong. What if i were to dillute at 1:3 or 1:4?

Thanks again.

I normaly go 2:1 but i`m sure yu can go lighter if you wanted to. There is no ACID persay in there it`s an Acid salt. which is ""safer"" IE higher p on the PH scale but with the same cleaning power. Anyways Dilution is up to It will not effect the way it cleans just how powerful a clear it is..(IE diluting APC for different jobs)

Stupid Question. When you talk about dilutting somthing 2:1 OR 3:2 exactly how much is that?

1:1 means half product; half water

1:2 means one part product; 2 parts water

A higher dilution ratio will only reduce the "cleaning power". It will not neutralize the active ingredient(s) in S&R.

I tried both way. I use 100% and quickly brush and rinse off.
I think they recommend you do 1:1(50/50).

Yea but even at 1:1 its more than enough. I`ve had my Spray and Rinse gallon for 5 months now and I still have 1/4 left.
