3" pods on rotary or a GG 3" polisher are kinda handy for door pillars, bumpers, motorcycles and tight spots in general. Just wondering if anyone has found a source for a variety of 3" pads? Lake Country`s Web site indicates everything they make is available in 3 & 3.5", haven`t seen anyone that carries them though. AG & DD have 3.5" PFW but that`s it.

I`ve used the Buff n Shine 3"ers, leave a lot to be desired and the velcro sucks. GG offers a couple of 3" pads, still not a real good pad. In several threads on numerous Forums I`ve seen what appears to be 3M 3" pads. Haven`t seen them for sale anywhere either.

Somebody somewhere has to be selling these or LC wouldn`t be making them. Anybody got a source?

TIA... TL

IMO the orange Griot`s ones *are* really good.

they are good pads, but not ridgid and contructed well enough to be used with the PC (i had one ripped, lesson learned), but more with the intended 3" random orbitals...

See how experiences differ?

I`ve been running a pair on my PC (M105 on one, 1Z HG on the other) for spot-corrections with zero problems :nixweiss

The 3" RO, with its high speeds (which I suppose it needs, what with the presumably short throw...but I`m just speculating  ) tends to throw misty sling, too messy for my taste, so I`ve been running the orange/red Griot`s pads via PC. Now just watch me start to tear `em up same as you now that I`ve posted this!
