If I wash a car with ONR mixed with RO/DI water, do I still need to dry the car? The purified water should evaporate completely and leave nothing behind.

You`ll most likely get streaking from the ONR. There have been several discussions on using ONR for various things such as windshield washer fluid (diluted with water) and other methods where no drying happens.

Yes it will spot from the ONR its self, you have to dry...its part of the process.

Thanks for the info. I`ll be doing my first ONR wash next week. It sounds like it will be much less of a pain than your standard bucket and hose wash.

You can save time and skip a step in waxing if you spray on Optimum Car Wax before you dry.

yes you still need to dry. I use distilled water and a pump up garden sprayer to apply the ORN and it will leave a film if left to air dry.
