Get the Griots Garage polisher. More power than the PC. Megs is garbagio in my books.

I 2nd the Griots Garage buffer, I picked one up and have used it on two details and absolutely love it so much, that I haven`t really reached for my rotary (granted I don`t detail professionally, just friend and family cars)

The griots is nice specification wise but lots of posts on AGO about them dying. Warranty is good and all but who wants to send theirs in for work all the time?

Neither. Get the Griot`s. Seriously, I`ve owned the Cyclo, the original PC, the new PC XP, and now the Griot`s. Hands down, the Griot`s is the nicest overall machine. It helps that their warehouse is 20 minutes away from me too. :)

Really, where? In Indianapolis?

One more vote for the Griot`s. Note that Barry Theal is very happy with his too, and his recommendation is worth more than mine.

Yeah, it`s technically in Plainfield which is on the west side of Indy.

Having two rotaries, I wouldn`t say it`s strictly "moving up" ;)

From a UDM to a Rotary it would look and feel like moving up. Just let everyone know what you got longhorn.

The griots machine is simple one of the best I have ever used!!! I have owned mine for 2 weeks now and I can honestly say it levels paint with m105 and surbuf nicely! THis is a must have machine for any DA user!! Good luck. For whats its worth it makes the new pc7424xp look weak

How bout moving up to a rotary?I have two rotary`s already, Makita and Hitachi. I also have 2 UDMs (one now) and two old first gen PCs. I like new tools. I detail a ton of cars too so I need back ups. I prolly do 10 cars a week when weather is good.
