Hey guys, I`ve got a black BMW coming up, and the paint is in pretty decent shape.
I`m curious as to what combo you guys would go with on types of paint like this?
It is black, and the paint is probably a 7/10.
How do you guys think an orange LC pad with m205 would turn out, being orange is a cutting pad and m205 is a bit of a finish type compound?

solekeeper- In this case I think it`ll primarily depend on which BMW black it is, the regular one or the stupid-soft one.
On the M205/orange, I don`t like that combo as well as some other people do. *IMO* it`s often a mis-match. I`ve used it, but I prefer something more like Griot`s orange/LC Hydrotech tangerine if I want to get the most correction possible out of M205. YMMV, etc.....

hm, I`ll tape the trunk tommorow and do some test spots to see what I come through with. I just got a bit motivated when I saw another member use this combo, and came out great. lol

Try M205 on LC white pad.
I Like to use their M105 on the Orange Pads

Same here, I would go with M205 and white pad.

I actually did m205 with the orange pad today, and it came out pretty well followed with m205/white!
Try M205 on LC white pad.
