Paint cleaner: What to use before Menzerna FMJ ?

Is there a paint cleaner what would be best used in combination with FMJ?

I`ve noticed my car picking up contaminates between FMJ applications (I know, FMJ isn`t the best sealant)



I`d like to use a paint cleaner rather than clay.

Why not use a Menzerna polish?
