I use 303 on my dashboard, and Armor-All on doors. For some strange reason, my 303 Aerospace protectant is suddenly a lot shinier than my Armor-All, and it wasn`t the last time I used it. These are the same bottles I have had for a few months. Any idea what is going on?

did you buff off the 303?

Yes. I applied both with a microfiber cloth.

Try wiping it down again and see if it`s just excess product.

303 went on shinier than I expected, but I realized I was putting too much on. Buffing really brought the sheen down, but it is still noticeable compared to non-treated, or Meguiar`s QID-treated areas.

then you might want to try 1Z...

Why are you using two different products to dress your interior?

I use 303 for the dashboard because of the quality, and Armor-all for the rest because it is cheaper and in larger quantities. I don`t like spending $15.00 for a small bottle of 303 and then use it on my entire interior every month, and then run out in a few months. Too expensive.

In that case, might as well use the AA all over, and save even more money while having a less shiny dash.

I don`t have any experience with this stuff. Right now I use black magic and it has no shine at all, which I like. Is 303 shiny like Armor All? I just found a retailer of 303 but I don`t want to pick any up if it is going to have that shine look.... or is it all about technique? Sorry for my ignorance, I am in the learning phase.

Just dilute it with water. 303 diluted 50% has a lot less shine.
