02 Trans Am 10hr correction

This client came to me from a local message board. It had some pretty bad waterspots all over the car and a fair amount of swirls and the paint just didn`t have much shine anymore. So I made the journey out there and spent the rest of the day and late into the night bringing beauty back to this stunning TA.



Every exterior surfaced was polished. The body got one stage of paint correction with over 75% defect removal, the glass was polished to remove the waterspots, the chrome wheels were polished to bring the luster back to the chrome, the exhaust tips were polished to like new condition, and the tail lights were polished to remove swirls and fading and brought back the gloss and reflections in them. After all this was done, the car got an IPA alcohol wipedown to remove polishing oils and prep the surface for Zaino. After applying and removing the Zaino, the fabric roof was reconditioned and protected. After 2 treatments the top looked noticeably healthier. With a lot of track time on this car and over 100,000 miles I was please with how it came out.



I want to give a special thanks to Duane and Theresa for being so welcoming and hospitable. They fed me twice while i was there and we just sat and talked cars and had good fun. It was a busy day but a very enjoyable one. Thank you guys!

I slapped on my sunglasses, grabbed the car keys and headed for the garage so I could go fetch some Starbucks for my hungover, half awake self. Opened the garage door and was damn thankful the sunglasses were on as the light reflecting off the Bird`s new high gloss look would have exploded my eyeballs if the glasses weren`t on.
