This Audi A3 belongs to my friend`s friend, who asked me to detail it. The car is a 2009 model I think...

Typical swirls everywhere, and some few deeper rids here and there. The paint condition was quite decent overall, but some spots were horrible as you can see on the pics.

I found the Lake Country CCS white pad + Menzerna PO106FA to be too light for the hard Audi clearcoat, and I had to go up to a green pad + PO85RD 3.02. The combination worked very well, altough I had to do 2 passes on some areas.

After that I tried the white pad + PO106FA again to gain some gloss after the harsher first step, but to my surprise I didn`t get much from it! The PO85RD 3.02 finished the paint incredibly well! So, that was my one and only step at this time (except the test area).

It was my first time using the Poorboy`s Blackhole glaze, and do I love it!:thumb: I have never seen a product that easy to buff off like a Blackhole!

I did the outside detailing only.

The process was:

1) Pre-wash

- Korrek Lensitil BR Solvent Wash Spray

- Bilt-Hamber Autofoam

2) Wash

- Turtle Wax Big Orange

- Two bucket method + Mother`s Sheepskin Mitt + mf mitt

3) Claying

- Zaino Z-18 clay

- Turtle Wax Big Orange as lubricant

4) Polish

- Menzerna PO85RD 3.02 + Lake Country CCS Green Heavy polishing pad

- Flex XC 3401 VRG

5) LSP`s

- Poorboy`s Blackhole

- Collinite 915
