I got the opportunity to detail this 2002 Corvette - Millenium Yellow Coupe, 6 speed, A&A Supercharger kit, BBS wheels. The owner asked that I help him with a deep clean and a base of Zaino that he could then maintain.

I cleaned the wheels and tires with MiraClean all-purpose cleaner and a variety of brushes and mitts. I then moved to a two-bucket wash with Zaino Z7 and sheepskin mitt. Next I removed all contamination with Zaino Z18 claybar and DP 4-in-1 for lubrication. After everything was washed and decontaminated, I further cleaned and polished the paint with Zaino AIO and a polishing pad with the PC 7424. The car was then sealed with two coats of Zaino Z5 Pro and a final wipedown of Zaino Z8. The tires got Zaino Z16 dressing and the exhaust tips were freshened up with #0000 steel wool and Zaino ZPC followed by Mother`s metal polish and a microfiber.

I wasn`t paying attention the the shadow on the whole-car pictures, so they didn`t turn out too well.

I`m interested to know why you chose z5 then z8, as opposed to z2 pro ? Still looks crazy though..

Since you are both Zaino centric I shouldn`t need to explain this ;) Z5 fills swirls as you know, and Z-AIO doesn`t do anything to correct them. I`m surprised ZaneO didn`t use Z-PC on the paint and then lay down Z-AIO and then Z5, but I guess if he was doing a one step polish job he used what he felt was best.

Also: Good to see you around Jan Itor. Love that show.
