Well, I read this on another site and figured I`d mention it here. A guy claims that bunched up womens stockings or pantyhose works great to removed bugs from the front valance. Basically bunch it up and dip it in a soapy bucket and rub across the paint. So guys you now have an excuse if your SO finds panythose in the back of the car:LOLOL

Sounds like a good way to scratch the paint to me

Actually, there may be some truth to this. A few years back, I was having terrible issues with the hood of a car. Paint was rough no matter what I did. Obviously tense, my girlfriend came out to lend a hand in stockings and little more. Later, I discover the hood felt like glass because the clay was under her and the headlights looked liked new!

Sorry mods ;o)

It`s the same concept behind the "bug sponge" It works to a degree. I`m pretty sure a bug sponge is cheaper than a pair of hose so I have no idea why someone would want to spend more money than needed just to say they used womens under garments to clean a car LOL

I don`t know if I`m comfortable with some mesh covered sponges. They look pretty course.

I dare you to try this, and then put them back in the drawer.

can they really be called unmentionables if we`re talking about them?...

What`s the penalty for mentioning unmentionables?

I heard a fabric softener sheet works, too. I tried it after getting a ton of love bugs on my front coming back from Orlando one Summer, and it worked! However, it may have been the Griot`s Garage soap, or the sealant I applied months before hand, or the bug scrubber on my sponge...so many variables.
