I will be doing a post polishing wash using CG`s CWG to reove polish residue and polish oils from M205 and 85rd as I dont have Citrus wash N Clear or P21S Total Auto Wash.

I`m concerned about the glossing agents present in CWG creating bonding issues when applying 845 IW after the wash. Since IW wont be applied on purely polished paint but rather on the glossing agents from CWG, will there be any bonding issues?

If I apply KAIO after the post-polishing wash, then I shouldn`t need to worry about slapping IW right on top of the KAIO, right? Since KAIO will probably chemically remove any glossing agents left behind by CWG.

You should be ok. I` wait 12hrs for KAIO to cure at least 12 hours before IW. Or IW 845 right after CWG should bond also.

Thanks MDRX8. All theses years, I was always under the impression that KAIO didn`t require a cure time. I thought it always worked as a "instant" base for any topper lsp.

Is it true that KAIO needs to cure? I could`nt find any threads on the subject.

When applying KSG on top of KAIO, is there a wait time?

I would wait at least 8 hours even if you are in a hurry ... see http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-detailing-product-discussion/56015-sg-curing-time.html
