View Full Version : Subaru WRX Wagon - Java Black Pearl

This is my friends car, a 2004 java black pearl WRX wagon. We cleaned it using dawn to strip the wax, cleaned the wheels with APC, the polished the whole car with M105 and an orange lake county pad. We were going to follow up with 205 but ran out of time so we are saving that for sometime later this summer. We are aware of the haze but it is still much better than it was. We were going to do a photo shoot but it was pouring rain when we got done so it will have to wait.

Looks good. But why would you be using 105 on the soft subaru paint. I found using 205 on a orange pad is just fine than another pass with a black pad. Unless your using a DA than I now understand y u went with the 105. If anything try another polish like PO83 or something like it... clay looks like you used it a lil much by leaving rubbing marks on the trunk area. Just some words of wisdom for u...

Yes, we were using a DA. And we might have used the clay too much. Thanks for the advice though!
