Wax applicator

Before applying wax, should the sponge and/or terry cloth applicator be dry or damp?:confused:

It depends on the wax you are using it sometimes applies easier with a certain Qd on the pad. But to me its personal preference with certain waxes.

Right. I generally do OK by following the instructions on the bottle/tin.

Would like to hear some input on what people`s favorite wax applicator is.



I have personally only used the small yellow foam applicators for wax, but would like to try something else because I have a hard time getting a real thin coat with this applicator.
