I was taking the pinstripe off a blue bmw 545i today and it just took forever, i used laquer thinner.. sometimes it takes it right off and sometimes its just a b**** to get off, anyone have any tricks for that?

i have heard of easy off oven cleaner, and yes it does work, but its pretty risky keeping the paint safe with it cause you have to let it sit.

I use one of these for stickers and pin stripes, not sure if it would work at all on a painted pin stripe though.

Not my manly hand, but this is an eraser wheel.

Someone just posted in another part that he removed painted pin striping and a painted letter from a used vehicle he bought. He used easy off oven cleaner, and said it worked very well.
