I am getting ready to purchase some mf towels, waffle weave towels for use on paint and I have a question.
Would`nt it be best if paying in the neghberhood of $5.00 for a 16x16 mf towel giving or taking a buck, that you would want a towel with no tags and the softest edge available? I am trying to figure out where to purchase my towels and I have read about peoples favorites which has helped me to narrow it down . pakshak, poorboys, pac, specialtymotering, are my main choices, but if I narrow it down by the no tags and softest edges then who prefails? Just wondering your thoughts? I know certain towels for different needs but I am concerened with towels on my paint . :gathering :help:

I have the PB towels and I`m very happy with them...no tags and the edges are real soft...IMO they are worth the money....Steve also runs specials on second runs that I got some time back....they are great work towels and cheap. I can`t remeber what the cost was but you can ask Steve.

I really like these http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-microfiber-towel.html from the Geek, but I`ve read that Scott has a similar towel @ SMP. I believe that Dwayne @ PAC will have some new ones coming out soon as well. Maybe he`ll have a sale? HINT!! ;)
Steve`s "seconds" are a great "work" towel & at 20 for $25 a great value for "non-paint" use.

I`ll second those too (they really are amazing), but those are 24"x16"...if you want the 16"x16" version, you can get the Soft Edge MF from SMP.

Premium has the new Cobra Deluxe towels too up his site: http://www.premiumautocare.com/cobra-super-plush-deluxe-microfiber-towel.html (http://www.premiumautocare.com/cobra-super-plush-deluxe-microfiber-towel.html)

The 6 pack is $29.95

Also, I was reading on bimmerfest.com that the discount code bimmerfest will give you a 15% discount at Premium this week. This would put the Cobra Deluxe 16 x 24 towels at around $4.24 each.

Just got the 6 pack of those, pretty sweet deal especially when you factor in the detailcity 10% discount ($4.xx per towel). Haven`t used mine yet, just ran them through the washer with some Charlie`s soap and hung `em to dry.

You only get the 15% or the 10% not both, just thought I would let you know , and no free shipping even at $100.00.

Hey I just placed an order at Premiumautocare.com and the detailcity discount code was 15% too! Is this an unannounced special? I usually here about stuff like this. Not complaining or anything like that... :yourrock
