Soak new sheepskin mitts before using `em. Just opened my new mitt from a well-known company from Washington State. Found nettles (I guess), and straw and what looked like wheat stalks down in the fibers. Prob. no biggie. They were extracted easily with tweezers. Guess the sheep was in a nettle patch or laying on straw bedding before being made into a nice wash mitt. Works well though, anyway.
