Went across the state today with Matt from Fast Eddy`s Detailing (southnstyle) to work on a customers vehicle who has been trying for a month now to bring it to me...but just never had the time to get up my way. He had it detailed before by another company...which as you can tell did not fair well for him. The pass. door had 7 very large and VERY noticeable scuff marks from the detailer...looked like the guy tried buffing the car with a terry cloth and then one very large one on the pass. quarter.

Customer just wanted to get the vehicle fixed. Wanted to get all the holograms removed and the scuff marks removed. Then any correction that could happen at the same time was a big bonus. Since this was not his show car, I told him my "Mirror Package" should get all his needs and achieve around 70-80% correction. Well in this case it removed all holograms, the scuff marks and did about 85-90% correction.

Process:

Wash:

Foam Gun - Chemical Guys Citrous Wash

Wash TBM - Adam`s Car Wash

Correction:

Makita - Orange LC Pad - SIP

GG DA - Orange LC Pad - M105 (certain panels)

GG DA - Gold LC Jeweling Pad - Super Finish

LSP:

Blackfire Wet Diamond

Natty`s Blue

Rims/Tires:

Chemical Guys (?) Silk Dressing

Jetfire on Rims

I know I am leaving some things out as I have been working from 7am to 9pm. Not on this car though, had to head back across state to work on more vehicles which we will finish tomorrow and I will have more pics up then...an interesting mix of vehicles/box trucks they are. Anyways pictures...

the fleck in that paint looks amazing, how long did you let the BFWD cure before applying natty`s blue? I just picked up both of these in the past couple months.

I have some stickers for matt. He needs to contact me.

S197 looks good! I`ll need to lock in someone to spend some hours on my car once the repaint happens.
