? about carrand gripper

Does anyone know if the carrand gripper will work on foam pads too?

per item description only describes microfiber applicators.

I ask because I prefer foam applicators to microfiber. I feel foam is more delicate for the paint.

just went into the garage and grabbed a round foam applicator pad and attached it (doesn`t hold on as well as a microfiber applicator), but you need to push it on snug...
