After I use a cleaner wax (Zymol) what can I put on top of it? A sealant? A carnuaba based wax? Any recommendations?

Thanks

Anything you want -- which doesn`t have cleaners in it (otherwise it didn`t pay to use your Zymol). How much do you want to spend, and do you wish to buy your LSP locally? What color is your paint?

It is a light blue metallic, about four years old. I am willing to spend up to $50. I am willing to buy locally or through the internet.

Thanks

well for 50 bucks you have lots of options.

i like nxt 2.0 cuz it is cheap and available almost everywhere local but i`ve only heard good stuff about Autoglym HD wax which is now at your local walmart.

personally, i basically only use Optimum car wax only because its sooooo easy and soooo fast to wax your car. get the gallon size and you`ll be good to go

A lot of people seem to like Meg`s #26.

Do you want a sealant or a nuba or both?

DP`s new DP Poli-Coat Paint Sealant (http://www.autogeek.net/dp-poli-coat-paint-sealant.html) (on sale) topped with Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Carnauba Wax (http://www.autogeek.net/pinliqsouvwa.html) looks awesome too me. You can get both for about $55.

For local, the following would be good: Collinite IW 845, Duragloss 111 or 105 (Carquest or Napa), AutoGlym HD, Megs #26, S100 (local Harley dealer). Several like NXT due to it`s ease of use, and initial appearance. However, it doesn`t last long, and it stains trim.

For mail order, your options are endless.

Some sealants don`t bond well to waxes, including what cleaner-waxes leave behind.

I`d use a wax. On a color like that, I`d like a "bright, reflective" wax, but that`s just me.
