View Full Version : Is my headlight salvageable?

I honestly don`t know how this happened, but my best guess is either bird crap, or some sort of wax/polish/detailing product slopped on the headlight and left for WAY too long before being removed. This happened before I purchased the car and I thought I could live with it, but it annoys me to no end.

I tried some glass polish applied with a rotary buffer but that didn`t even put a dent in it.

Thoughts?

Any suggestions appreciated!

Should clean up nicely with some 1500, 2000, 3000 grit sandpaper followed by some polishing, plastic polish and protection.

^^^^ do that. You`ll be fine.

Also, those wheels are awesome.

That will come out. You will need to do both headlamps, because you will remove a good amount of the stone chips. One will look like new and the other will look old and chipped if you just do the one shown above.
