I guess my work paid off because I got a New Client!!! The owner of the Lincoln LS I did referred me to his brother. He liked my work so they hired me to do the E320.

The car originally came for a clay+wax but ended up getting a Mini detail with a 1-Step Paint correction, Interior Detail, and Headlight Restoration.

This car was a Pretty wicked Dark blue.... Looked great to see a dark color thats not "Black".

I also tried "Hand Waxing" this time... It was cool to try it!!!

That looks like "capri blue". It`s the same color as the 2004 S430 my mom has. It`s a beautiful color, and in the right light it can look blue, black, or even purple. It`s actually still an available color. Very nice job bringing that car back to life. The headlight restoration was especially good.

Nice work! I did a correction on a 05 jet black E320 and I will never do one again!!!! Unless i`m making $125+ an hour.

My C230 is the same exact color....Capri Blue (C359 color code). It`s a rare color and when I purchased mine, I had to get it in CA and have it shipped 2,600+ miles to me in RI. I get so many compliments on the color. Most people are used to Blacks and Silvers for Mercedes colors. Great job on the detail. It`s amazing how black the water gets when using the steam machine. I have the same LGM one.

I know I`m resurrecting an old thread, but I wanted to reply to Cholleman`s reply.

Yes Diamond Black is very close to Capri Blue, but it`s even darker. Mercedes had quite a few "blue" colors for their cars, all metallic. I found them below from lightest to darkest (or closest to black):

Orion Blue - very baby blue or sky blue color

Capri Blue - my car`s color, and the same color as the one the OP detailed

Black Opal - very dark, but a bit on the gray`ish side of blue.

Diamond Black - darker, but you can still see the blue flakes in the sunlight

Obsidian Black - even darker than Diamond Black. Still see some blue flakes though.
