Ive been looking for another car for a while now to drive to work. There are just too many cars and people around. Its only a matter of time before my car gets damaged.....again.,...

I really dont have they extra money to justify another car, so Ive been slowly looking for a "good" car for $1000-$2000. I finally found it, though its not very conservative, it was 1000 bucks. 1998 Chevy Express 1500 van, with full passenger conversion and handicapped accessible hydraulic ramp. This thing is like a limo inside! Wood grain, captains chairs, mood track lighting, and an entertainment system. TV & VCR, with additional ports. I already hooked up my Nintendo, and threw a few old porn vhs`s in the overhead storage compartment. The paint is in amazing shape, as well as the inside...besides the carpet which is terribly stained.

I went to pep boys, and bought a telescoping brush, some Meguiars Color X, a cheap cotton buffing pad and a hand brush. I wasnt going to use my nice stuff on the van.....this thing looked like it had never been washed. Found someones armor-all soap in the garage. I made a cocktail for a pre-rinse, which I put into a pump sprayer. I found a whole bottle of turtlewax bug & tar spray in the garage as well. I mixed the whole bottle with some soap and used the pump sprayer. I need a ladder for this van, lol.

It came out pretty well after washing. I was planning on not drying it off, but there were hazy streaks everywhere. Used an old bath towel. Then I put the cotton 5.5" hand applicator on my Flex and went to town with the Meguiars Color X. It seemed to put a tiny bit of gloss onto the paint, which was already in great shape.

The interior was soooooooooo dirty. Everything wiped very clean with some Grime Reaper APC, diluted. Its very nice being able to actually fit the shop vac in the car youre vacuuming, lol. Had to clean each window 3 times with invisible glass to get the film off.

All in all, the car is great.......a little big, but it only cost me a thousand bucks, and I plan on selling it for 5-7k. Not too shabby.

That is pretty cool. I bet you could flip the van and make some $$$ due to it having a disabled ramp unless you need it.

If you have no use for the lift a good thing to do would be to donate it to someone in need.
