I just purchased a 1963 Thunderbird. There are some cracks in the panels in the door panels - not broken-just cracked. Any ideas?

There are companies that specialize in vinyl and leather repair. You could use one of those. Or, you could take them to a trim shop and have them redone. I am not aware of a company, such as Year One, that makes replacements. If there is such a company, you could go that route as well.

flash52- Welcome to Autopia!

COOL car, my mother had a `62 (slightly different qtr trim). Heh heh, hope yours is more reliable than hers was!

Depending on what you`re doing with it, having original, but imperfect, panels might be better than having them redone to perfection.

I wonder how spraying them down with some vinyl/rubber treatment would work....you`d want to use the right stuff though, and I don`t know just what that`d be  Some otherwise good products (the Pinnacle stuff comes to mind) just don`t work well on certain, specific materials.

I`d talk with somebody who has *marque/model/year*-specific knowledge.
