I`ve been putting this off for a while because I`ve been so busy.... Both my Camaro and the Civic needed it done but since the Civic is my daily, figured I`d do it first.

Process was wetsanded 1500, 2000, 2500, compound, and then polish.

What I started with

After wetsanding (part of tape peeled off AFTER)

What are you coating with after the polish?

I actually haven`t coated them with anything yet. Finishing up the other light tonight. Gonna seal one with Zaino and the other with Opti-Seal and see how it holds up.

There is a kit that we buy at my shop that has a clear coat that you apply afterwards. Its almost like a clear varnish then you have to apply heat to dry it. Seems to work real good and hold up to the elements!

Opti seal is ok, but if you ever get opti-coat, try that. Develop (I did not spell it the exact way) is used by a bunch of detailers that I know and it has a UV coating as well.

I have heard a few say that within a year it needs to be reapplied. One guy I know charges about $75 per lense and reapplies it free each year with a detail. Good upsell for sure.

laminx it. haha that`ll probably keep it looking great for a while. great turnaround. That`s one thing i can`t stand, a murky headlight and dirty windows. sigh....
