What`s the best way to clean off thick, pasted and dried mud clumps off a vehicle, as there`s a big truck I`m going to detail and it`s going to be coming to me caked with mud and I do not have a pressure washer but i do have a foam gun, any suggestions?

I would think that if you soaked it with some body solvent first then hit it with one of those little high pressure nozzles that attach to a garden hose you should be able to get most of it off. It might take a couple of applications. Then hit it with your soap/water/mitt/brush/etc.

I`ve gotten my car REALLY dirty and muddy before (off roading) and I was able to follow the above steps and get it off with little to no trouble.

Agreed, take it to the coin wash. Ore-soak, high pressure wash and rinse. You`ve just spent 8-10 bucks but saved a lot of your time!
