I have a 2002 Infiniti QX4 that has this colored / tinted rubber trim around the wheel well arches. I got this truck at around 80,000 miles. The previous owner did nothing to take care of it except fairly regular automatic car wash visits.

As you can see in the photos below the rubber trim has spots that are very dirty and the rubber appears to have some cracking in it. My attempts to clean this have been a complete failure. Any ideas on how to get this stuff clean or is it too late and nothing can be done?
