Was contacted by this gentlemen who was looking to prep the car for the spring/summer. No paint correction was done. It needs a light compounding and polish but nothing major, it`s in decent shape to start from. I knew exactly what I was going to do to this one and it turned out fantastic. I didn`t take any before pictures just a few quick after ones as the owner needed to return home. I believe this is the Titanium Silver Metallic. Total time was 2 hours and 45minutes. I thought I would finally have a day off and the owner called and told me he was on the way to the shop, so I got ready and drove over.

Washed using Dodo Juice Sour Power via the 2 Bucket Method

Dried the car using Detailed Image Waffle Weave Drying Towels

Clay with Meguiars Fine Grade

Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze via PCXP with Green LC Polishing Pad on Speed 6

Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Sealant via PCXP with Red LC Pad on Speed 4.5

Wheels - Opti-Seal

Tires - Meg`s Tire Gel

Glass - Chemical Guys Window Clean

no problem. I notice most all your pictures come out pretty dang good. I`m sure i have asked or it has been asked before but what kind of camera and lens are you using again?

Things are ok out here in hawaii. Work is a little slow and has been for some time now. Still trying to think about my next move on if im heading to the mainland or what.

Dj, how do you like the CG window cleaner? I need to switch my stuff up, the megs glass cleaner is pissing me off lately. I also hear straigh up alcohol/water will do the trick...but what about on tint? Thats why I would rely on a "window tint safe" cleaner

and as tyson said, the photo skills are awesome man...Ill have to give you a call and see where you learned what you did so I can catch up!

the 18-55 vr nikor lens is the kit lens that it comes with, correct?

What mode do you primarily shoot in? Your pictures are pretty crazy crisp. Sometimes i feel like my photos are not crisp enough and i feel that there is a little noise in low light areas even with the iso down at 100.

Do you use any filters or bump any settings up on your camera? I got the same camera and the same lens just don`t have the 55-200 which i would love to get.

I use the M - Manual mode most of the time and for direct sun shots I sometimes use P - Priority mode. I have been playing with Aperture mode too lately.

Also, I do believe the 55-200 lens is has better quality glass as I can see a difference when I use that lens vs. the 18-55.

Thanks Thomas. I got your call but was busy at the moment. I`m doing Kevin`s R32 tomorrow so give me a buzz. What did you do last time to it? Like what is he expecting done? Thanks again.

Yeah i usually shoot in Manual mode as well. Hmm . . . . makes me scratch my head . . . .

What 55-200 lens you got. I know there is one that comes with the D5000 camera kit from costco which is inexpensive and then there is another 55-200 lens that is like $600+ bucks.

I see 0 noise in your photos.

I think I did a one step + FK1 #1000. Should be in god shape but he may have said this time the car needs more work. SIP/Ez creme plus protection?

DJ a great job as always. I love the shine added by the combo of glaze and sealant.
