Hi everyone,
I have a couple cars that need detailing and I was wondering if I could get some recommendations on what products I should use to detail them with.
In the next week or two, I will be ordering a PC 7424XP, and other detailing products.
The first car is a my daily driver, which has scratches all over the car. I have included some pictures of the areas that need the most attention here (http://s7.photobucket.com/home/abcheng/allalbums)
The first four pictures were taken after the car was washed, and the last five pictures were pictures taken before the car was washed.
The trunk as depicted below probably needs the most work done to it:

The second car is a 1991 Mazda RX7 that is almost fixed, and has oxidized and fading paint.
What polishes would you guys recommend for these cars ?
It seems like a lot of people seem to recommend using m105 / m205 polishes especially on Hondas since they have soft paint.
What pads do I need for each car?
Would it be correct to assume that:
The Mazda would use a yellow and white pad for polishing and blue pad for finishing ?
The Honda would use a orange and white pad for polishing and a blue pad for finishing ?
Since the PC comes with a 5" backing plate, should I be purchasing 6.5" pads?
