This is my first post and I am getting excited about detailing my Toyota Tacoma the RIGHT way after reading this forum. In addition to getting excited I am also very confused. please advise;
2007 Toyota Tacoma
Paint is in good shape
clay barred only once and waxed with TW ice
I would like to have that deep show car shine, the truck is radient red.
Please advise on the steps and products.
1. wash
2. clay bar
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?
and product recomendation. I would like to use consumer products that I can find at autozone, advance auto, wal-mart etc.
I am eagerly waiting to be schooled.
thanks in advance

after you`ve washed and clayed, pick up both these and they can be used by hand and/or D/A (use the swirlx first as it`s less aggressive and if that doesn`t work out (you may have to do a few passes so don`t give up), step up to the ultimate compound)...

for your LSP, there`s the nxt 2.0, which can be had in the show car shine gift set (it`s a gift set from Christmas) that target has on clearance for around $5-$10 (the nxt 2.0 alone sells for over $15 and you get a few other products as well) if they still have them (you can call and ask if they still have them and here`s the item/product number (096120006). otherwise, walmart has the nxt 2.0 and you can pick it up along with both the swirlx and ultimate compound at the same time...
btw... :welcome

p.s. i would highly recommend picking up a PC and some pads (every detailer/enthusiast should have one IMO), it will give you better results and your arms will thank you later...
