Hi, I just purchased a black `08 350z and wanted to have my detail plan critiqued. I recently washed the car and took the following pictures. I was planning on using the M105 / 205 combo with Blackfire wet diamond sealant. I heard Nissan paint is pretty soft, so I was wondering if it would be overkill to use 105 with an orange LC pad with a PC, Im a little apprehensive about taking too much paint off. Should I start with the 205 first or do you think these swirl marks require 105? Thanks!

yes, do a test spot first (least aggressive approach first). no need to start off with the most aggressive approach when you don`t need to...

if that`s anything like my 03 g35 (i know the first few years of g35/350z paint was very soft) that looks like a white pad nad 106 would take it out.

I bet 205 would take that out. No need to do compound if you don`t need to. As stated before - do spot tests with a few different combinations of pad and product.
