Greetings from South Carolina,
I`ve got an `07 Toyota FJ Cruiser - Black Diamond Mica, and I`m looking to take better care of it. After looking through this forum for the last month, I easily realized how much harm I was doing to the paint job. I don`t have many deep scratches but I can see in the sunlight all of the swirl marks I`ve created from my normal wash and wax routine. I`ve never used a clay bar or a proper polish, and I had never heard of grit guards.
Just lurking for a month has increased my knowledge 10X, and I feel like this spring I`ll be much better prepared to take proper care of the interior and exterior of the FJ.
My shopping list is getting pretty long. I`m really looking forward to the first nice saturday of the spring!
I don`t have any current pics but this was one of the better ones I have after the first wash I gave it two years ago.
