Am I the only person that doesn`t like shiny tires? I just like them black. What do you use on tires?

Yes........you`re the only one:hide::lol

A detail doesn`t look done to me without wet juicy tires:drool:.......then again I`ve never seen what mat tire dressing looks like, always just shined them up. Got any pics?

....I typically just use 303 Aerospace Protectant these days. I will apply a relatively heavy layer on all 4 tires and then come back with a moistened (with 303) applicator to level out any excess creating a nice, even finish. It typically only lasts 1-2 weeks and washes off quite easily, but I prefer the satin-like finish it provides over the wet/greasy look. I buy it by the gallon for other tasks as well so I guess its just a matter of using what I have on hand.

Duragloss Tire & Rubber Mat Dressing (TMD) #253 is like Armour-All but is water repelant. Gives a nice dark clean shine. It is like Zaino`s tire treatment but less cost.

I scrub `em with degreaser and rinse them then use mothers protectant.

Zaino Z-7.

I`m a total idiot...Just realized what I typed.

Z-7 is the damn soap...Z-16 is the tire dressing.

I should really proofread my posts first...

System One Licorice Black is a deep black, matte finish.

hyperdressing gives off a nice matte finish but for tires that are really worn and old it won`t work.

Blackmagic smells really good especially the foam and works well even if you use a applicator to help out.

Here is a picture of Zaino Z16 in action for the matte finish.

I do not like my tires to look as if the have been coated with Crisco...

Surf City Tire Dressing gives rich, deep, black matte appearance.... a little goes a long way... 2 squirts into a foam app per tire

I use Swissvax Pneu or 1Z einszett Vinyl Rubber Care and Protectant for all my tires. Gives it a matte finish after the tires are cleaned off carefully with a didicated tire brush and P21S Total Auto wash.
