Hey guys! I saw the Bodelin Proscope HR used to detect paint surfaces defect.

There is a nice kit which called CSI Science Level 1 which is about 400$ and includes 1-10X lens and 50x lens.

What do you think of this unit guys? does anyone here used it before?

I think that is a very pertinent question. Other than looking severely medical while prepping a paint-leveling session, I don`t know how it would actually help someone do a better job with the exception of jeweling museum level paint.

If this is incorrect, please tell me why.

Just wanted to get some feedbacks on that unit since it is new to me and I dont know if some of you use it and find it useful for paint inspection.

Also, I found this post from TOGWT on paint surface inspection:

I know a lot of people here are really anal about their paint and stuff but I think you you start looking at at that level it`s time to see a shrink. LOL
