I finished this one last week. It`s a 2009 White X5. This car has been frequenting Tahoe.. and being white, you can only image the work cut out for me!

On with the befores:

The wheels were in pretty bad shape as well:

So first things first was, of course, the wheels. I used a combination of Autoglym CWC, Megs Wheel Brightener, and Eimann Fabrik Hi Intensity Cleaner for various cleaning jobs, as well as various brushes.

I then pressure rinsed the car, and followed up with two foam baths of optimum power clean, before carrying out a two bucket wash also utilizing optimum power clean.

Once the car was washed and clayed (surprisingly it wasn`t even bad!) I opted to start with the leather first, because I would be using leatherique twins, and wanted the rejuvinator oil to have plenty of time to dwell.

I then turned my attention back to the outside. As this was just a one-step, I carried out the process using my Flex DA, and Orange polishing pad, and M105. This knocked out almost all of the swirls, and leaving zero micro marring behind.

Paint before.. hard to capture on white, of course:

I then turned my attention to the interior. Before:

A definite improvement considering I don`t have an extraxtor:

I was REALLY pressed for time on this job.. spent about 9.5 hours on it, and finished in the pitch black. Ironically just as I was going over the car with the owner, the light in the garage went out, so I went to get my brinkman... and dropped it breaking it. So I had no lights to aid in my last walk around.. :o

Anyways. The LSP for this car was two coats Blackfire AFPP and two a coat of Blackfire Midnight Sun Paste wax. I`m ASTONISHED at the look it gave on the gloss white. Usually I`d reach for werkstat acrylic--but didn`t think to bring it! Doh! But this was amazing.

Also the plastic parts of the car were treated with Poorboys Trim Restorer, and wheels were sealed with Jetseal109.

Looks great Aaron. It looks like you didn`t get a new camera yet huh. She was a dirty one. Great Job man.

Thanks Barry! The one from the last detail wasn`t ruined. Just the filter got shattered and was jammed in to the lense.. took some pliers and cursing to get it out--but didn`t have that stuff handy with me at the last detail site. This one I just brought my 8 megapixel Sony P&S. I know you can tell in the last pics the noise is quite distracting :(
