I`d like to ask, why use 4 grit guards while using the 2BM?

To keep the wash mitts as far away from the dirt as possible. Just one grit guard is not enough!

The goal of the grit guard insert is to keep the wash mitt from picking up the dirt that settles at the bottom of the bucket. A single grit guard prevents the mitt from touching the bottom. Giving it more distance from adding another one on top of it won`t have much benefit if you ask me.

Aside from that, great job on the detail.

Yes, I understand that is the purpose of the grit guard. With another grit guard on top of the first one it reduces the chances for any debris to end up on the paint!

Good job on that Martin, and yes...2 Grit Guards per bucket does reduce the risk of marring. And thanks for the props on my article too! :)
