This is a 2006 Acura TSX, the color is difficult to capture-it`s a very VERY dark midnight blue metallic. When I met the customer, it was obvious the car had a ROUGH life as a lease prior to him buying it. The paint was HAMMERED! Looked like it been washed with a hair brush every day. I met the customer while polishing a BMW at his condo. He pulled his car around and asked what could be done. So I explained a bit about the process and asked when he would like to set something up (this was before the holiday). Finally he scheduled something with me over this past weekend. He was kind enough to let me take the vehicle off his hands so I could work on it in my home garage as opposed to freezing my conjoins off at the condo. This turned out to be to both of our advantages as the car ended up needing 12 hours of work and i NEVER touched the inside!

Process:

ONR wash

Clay Bar

ONR (to remove clay gunk)

Degreased/wash tires

Jacked up the car and washed the fenders too.

Starting with the hood, I tested some sections, and found that this sucker was going to need 3 full polishes starting with a Lake County Kompressor yellow pad then to an orange both with Adams Swirl n haze remover, topping that off with a Kompressor White pad with Adams Fine Machine polish. For the final step, I finished with Adams machine wax (which makes me want to drink dimeatap cough medicine b/c it smeels like grape bubble gum).

I ended up returning it to him in the morning, so luckily there was enough light as the sun rose to grab one full pic of the car.

I thought the second pic was showing a ton of crows feet, I was trying to figure out why in the world he would have you polish a POS like that. Then I realized it was you textured ceilings!!! Awesome reflections!

lol ya. If you go to any Acura forums you will either see NHBP or NBP as reference. Most of the Acura`s have the pearls in them.
