Hello guys I own a black Jeep srt8 and this past spring I did a zaino detail on it. I`m looking into a new line of products to try, I would like at achieve simular slickness and beading as the zaino provided. The zaino was nice but a little too reflective and I would like a deeper black gloss this time around, so my question is what products do you guys suggest. Also what detail spray would be an equivalent of zaino z8 that gives you that instant slickness.

Check out the Blackfire. I think it will give you what you`re looking for. There`s a spray sealant version that would make a good Z8 replacement.

I would continue using the zaino and top it with either P21s or Pinnacle Souveran (depending on the color of the vehicle)

I had a black 07 Jeep Limited. I used Zaino, Swissvax, and Optimum.

If I still had it, I`d be using a carnauba on it.

Zaino Z5pro however, was best over all. Looks and protection were excellent.

Optimum was easy to use and very slick, but didnt last long (visually, beading stopped in a few weeks)

Swissvax gave the best appearance, but attracted dust like a magnet. A trade-off I could live with as I QD`d the car frequently with FK1 425.

6 months or so old...

Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 is pretty much like Zanio Z2 or Z5 when its Zfx`d but it has more warmth. Same or longer durability.

Z8 is fairly similar to things like DoDo Juice Red Mist. Personally i would give both a miss and get Duragloss Aqua Wax as you can apply it when the cars is wet after washing, its cheaper and i doubt you can tell the difference. Souveran Spray wax is another good alternative. Wolfgang do there own spritz to complement the sealant.

To me, nothing looks better than carnauba on dark colors. Z2 on black looks like the paint was laminated, you see where the surface is, I prefer the deep look where it really tricks your eyes and makes it hard to focus on where the paint actually is.

IMO, I`d just grab some Megs #26 locally and give that a shot. Its a great looker and its very cheap. If you like it, move on to some more expensive carnaubas.

I dunno.... reflection is awesome on black; not so great on some other colors though.

Collinite 845 is easy to use, as durable as Zaino, and gives you a deeper wetter look more like a carnauba. It`s kind of the best of both words (durability of a sealant, looks of a carnauba). There are better looking carnaubas but they don`t last as long.
