I am real anal about my paint but sometimes things happen that we just cant avoid. My car recently got keyed and i have no option but to repaint it, i really wish not to because i feel that it wont match up the same and nothing is like the OEM paint job.

Find a good shop with a good painter. It`s possible for repaints/repairs to turn out incredibly well. It`s not, however, all that common so be careful who you let do the work.
If it doesn`t match, don`t pay them until it does. Be sure to make your position perfectly clear before contracting for the work. Repainting properly is a pretty big deal, and a lot of shops will try to cut corners and/or make excuses about why things don`t turn out right.
