I have a Flex 3401 with multiple LC pads. On black paint, what do you prefer to use following SIP,.......P085RD or UF and why? Or is there some other product you prefer?

I`ve been using 106ff as my last step, but not on black paint.

I`ve not used either of these products, but they both have very good reputations here. Looking forward to reading others opinions..

85RD rocks. I haven`t come across a finish that didn`t look great with it. UF does and was created to correct super minor paint defects(buffer trails). 85RD has some bit if used correctly. Try it with an orange pad on soft paint and you`ll be amazed at what can be ackomplished.

Ultrafina works best via rotary, I would opt for 85RD, which is the best finishing polish out there, in my opinion anyway.

I like the finish on 85RD a little better. The 3M also leaves a good finish for your LSP. So you can`t go wrong with either.

I`ve had good luck with UF on black pads using a Flex.
