I understand that there is no quick "fix" for clear coat failure, but I was wondering if there were any tricks to hiding such a thing? I just picked up a `95 Chevy Tahoe with really bad clear coat failure. Its coming off of the truck in flakes. After removing the peeling flakes is there any way to make the cc failure less noticeable? I simply cannot afford a respray right now. Thanks! I`ll try to post pics of the damage on Friday.
P.S. I searched a lot of threads asking about clear coat failure. I couldnt find anything about hiding cc failure rather than repairing it. Maybe my search skills suck.
