You folks have some great advice, so I am looking to you expertise on this.

My friend has an `03 Honda Accord. It`s the chamagne color. Well, she left the moonroof open and the rain poured inside. Now the fabric headliner is stained with watermarks.

What do you suggest she/I do to remove them?

Thanks!: confused:

If the inside headliner has gotten water in it, I would seriously look at it for any additional water standing inside it. Or anything else that has been damaged.

Plus, replacing the headliner would most likely be easier than cleaning it.

Forget trying to clean the stain from the headliner. The insides/backing are usually made of a cardboard material. As such, as soon as they get wet, the backing/insides are had it.

I would replace the headliner. Sorry.

If you want to try and clean it, you will need a special dry foam designed for use on headliners, again to prevent getting the backing saturated with water. A product like Pro Wax AHF-400 Fabric Cleaner is designed for this purpose.
